| ALLEN WALKER |
| series: D.Gray-man name: Allen Walker age: 15-16 gender: Male race/ethnicity: Human/British sexuality: Straight, with a dislike of the type of women that Cross usually hangs around. crew position: First mate of the Cheap Prayer(though Cross works him like a cabin boy.) appearance: Appearance-wise, Allen is slightly interesting. We’ll get into his arm in a second, but the rest of him. He has snow white hair, not really layered but not really shaggy either as it reaches a little past his chin at its longest, varying in length closest to his forehead. His part is magical, and tends to be all over the place depending on what exactly he’s doing. He’s rather pale, which assists with the white hair. His eyes are a soft, light blue, although when an Demons is present, his left eye turns completely black and has multiple red rings instead of an actual pupil. He is of average height, a little over 168 cm (5’6”), although a slim build (58 kg, 127 lbs) with a fit body follows up with that. He has a young appearance, but that's backed up by the fact he's only 15-16 years old. The marking on his left eye is completely red, and starts just above the eyebrow, with an upside-down, five-pointed star before a line goes from the tip and across his eyelid. It goes straight down his face until his cheekbone, where it goes horizontal to the left before down again, and stops near his mouth. There's another line a short space under his eye, thick and partially resembling a tilde (~). Allen was born with a deformed left arm, which turned into his weapon. It appears to be a normal arm until you get to about the wrist. The full-red color starts halfway down his upper arm, although wraps up a part of it, then another piece partially going over his bicep-triceps area. At this point, it goes upwards over his shoulder and wraps around there twice, the second one closest to his chest dipping downwards and pointing in. Four markings (circles with lines that end in arrows, the largest the second one down while the smallest is the last) are set a small space from this line, arrows pointing to his pec. On the top of his hand is a white, almost star looking cross. Once reaching his knuckles, they spike and are jaggedy, leading to black, claw-like nails. Each knuckle is spiked, while his nails are pure black and the top of his hand has a white, simple but somewhat jagged cross on the top. It seems that Allen wears a similar outfit to Cross’ own, which is black with white trimmings and multiple crosses and covered in assorted pure-silver shinies, one being an ornate cross over his heart, another being the pure-silver shoulder armor as well as assorted buttons. It pulls across his chest and buttons up partially over the right side of his chest and along that line. It also possesses a hood that Allen (and Timcanpi) is rather fond of. His boots stop below his knees a bit, and zip up the middle. The tops fold over somewhat, but do not obstruct the zipper. The jacket of his uniform goes well past his knees, practically to the ground, and splits in the middle. Interestingly enough, he can be called a "mini-Cross" because of how he dresses, despite the lack of a belt, hat, and poet's shirt. personality: First off, Allen can appear relatively happy. His face is usually fixed in a smile, or at least a calm look, and is usually pleasant to be around. If he isn't, well you're pretty much screwed over. Happy Allen is a preferred Allen, most of the time, because if made angry, he can be aggressive and violent, snappy and immensely dangerous. He's out to save everything he can--human and demons alike--so can appear dead-set on something that he wants to do. He won't sway from it, ever, and is extremely stubborn when it comes to helping people. He won't fight if he doesn't see a need to, which has gotten him into trouble on multiple occasions. But if there is a reason to fight, you know Allen's not about to give up on it, even if he doesn't have his arm at the time. But when not in such a mood as this, he's peaceful and generally easy to get along with. The problem is that his Innocence is fueled by his emotions, so it's not smart to make him upset. Speaking of upset, this is also easy as he blames himself for a lot of things, and could very well get emo all over you. But with his friends on his right and the demons on his left, Allen is prepared to face pretty much anything. abilities/weaponry: Allen's Innocence is a parasite-type, meaning it's a part of his body. When fighting, Allen can turn his arm's appearance more stream-line, as well as becoming black, fingers becoming elongated and looking like they're covered completely in talons. His arm and appearance, in this form, is called the Crown Clown (probably because of how goofy it looks to some people). He gets a flowing, rather fluffy looking cape when in this form, and a masquerade mask is present but not on his face. It’s extremely powerful, if used correctly, but Allen is still new to this form of his weapon. His left eye can pick up demons, and thus is when it turns completely black with the red rings on the inside. When this occurs, a practically monocle-like thing appears over his eye, which makes the soul that once was human that is now in some demons becomes visible to not only him, but also those around him. The range of his eye is 300 kilometers (approximately 186 miles) though it can be slight and hardly sense at those distances unless there’s many demons. Allen, like most exorcists, is extremely durable and can be thrown around quite a bit in a fight before he passes out. Although blood loss seems to be his main way of doing this, he's stubborn and doesn't like giving up, even if there's the possibility he could die. He's also quick footed, but not to an extreme point. Timcanpi (or Timcampi, Timcanpy, such and such), though not exactly his, is a golem that is sometimes charged to follow Allen around by his Master/Captain Cross. It is a ball practically with stubby little legs, a cross on its face with no visible eyes, nose, ears, or mouth (the mouth is only obvious when it opens its mouth, which is the horizontal line of the cross filled with tiny, sharp teeth) while it has small horns just before its large wings. The tail that follows behind it is long, thin, and has a very large swirling poof at the end. “He” can record video and relay it back by opening his mouth, as well as track enemies and Cross himself. His size varies, for some reason. Allen is also rather intelligent, which gets him points when he can cheat non-stop at poker without getting sufficiently caught. An amusing talent is his street performing skills, which he can pull off with amazing tact. This means he's flexible and well balanced. Technically he is also clairvoyant, as he can sense when his friends are in danger almost immediately. weaknesses: In order of most serious flaw to least: Selfless, absolutely bloody selfless. Allen will dive headfirst into something to save someone (or the soul of someone in the case of some demons) no matter the consequences. He's also an absolute idiot sometimes and doesn't know his limitations in most situations, if his heart is put into it. Sadly, most of the time, his heart is really put into it. Although having an exceptionally strong weapon and being stubborn enough not to die easily, Allen is still human. Put up against someone (or something) equally matched with him or stronger, well. There’s just a bit of a problem with that if it happens. He is also prone to great headaches caused by his eye sensing large quantities of demons around him, and for some reason it seems to also sense when his friends are in danger involving large quantities of demons, which causes him even more pain. He has a low tolerance for arrogance, as well as teasing whether it is to himself or anyone else. He's sensitive on issues involving his height, even if he is of the average size for his age (he's only a teenager, he'll grow too). He has absolutely no sense of direction, whatsoever, and gets lost very easily. history: Allen, as mentioned before, was born with a deformed arm and thus his parents had abandoned him and a remarkably young age. The boy lived on the streets of Uppingham even at his insanely young age until a man named Mana Walker had found him. He was a traveling performer, and was making a round through England before he came across the boy. Taking pity on him, he took him in as his son and they quickly became attached, like true father and son while the two traveled most of the world. Throughout this time, Allen learned some basic knowledge of quite a few European languages, as well as a couple of Asian (although definitely not Chinese.) The bliss soon ended when they returned to England, as over the past year or so, Mana had become ill and was steadily getting worse. For the next year, Allen sat at Mana’s bedside until his death. After this, a funeral was held, and every day after it, Allen sat at his grave with absolute misery. It was then that the Earl of Millennium came upon him. Allen had never heard of him before, had never heard of the pain that he caused, or the demons that he created. When he offered to bring Mana back, Allen jumped at the chance. It was a bad plan, because once Mana’s soul was in that demon’s body, he began yelling and cursing and went to attack Allen, cursing him with the scar left over his left eye. Automatically, Allen’s left arm responded to the contact and morphed into the weapon that would slay his father, whose last words to Allen were “I love you, Allen, destroy me.” Allen couldn’t stop his arm; it was simply doing what it was made to do. The eleven-year-old was alone in the world again, miserable once more and holding the guilt he’d killed his father. Of course, this was until a man named Cross Marian came upon him. Cross was shocked to find that Allen’s story was similar to his, but while Allen had killed his adoptive father after turning him into a demon, Cross had done the same to his son that would’ve been about Allen’s age at this point. They both were cursed, and with the dream of being an exorcist on Allen’s mind, the General took him in and taught him everything that he knew. Although his parenting skills were not the greatest—he constantly hits Allen over the head with things and works him to the bone—Allen has not questioned his master, captain, and third father once except about his sanity and why he plays music at four o’clock in the morning. Somehow at the same time, Allen has earned the extraordinary skill of gambling, though it’s mostly him cheating out of his ass, to pay off Cross’ debts and keep him out of trouble. All the while on this journey with Cross for the four-five years he’s been with him, Allen has encountered many a things and met many a person. One of them includes Cross' nephew--although Allen doesn't actually know this--named Rabi, not quite eccentric like Cross, but rather odd like his captain as well. Rabi is an Exorcist as well, although Allen has just recently become one himself. It’s doubtful, no matter how eccentric and insane his fatherly figure might be, that Allen would ever leave his side willingly for a long time. A vacation or two is nice, but Allen strangely looks up to Cross despite his… quirks. Cross also would get rather screwed over if Allen were to leave him, what with Allen's innate ability to pay off his debts and do his work for him. |
